Tennis and squash is played 365 days a year and there is also a thriving ladies hockey section.

Cheerleading is a high-energy, faced-paced and dynamic sport that involves performing cheers and/or chants, short dance sections, jumps, stunts and pyramids, tumbling skills and tosses in a two-and-a-half-minute routine!

Gloucestershire Cheer and Dance Academy was formed by Claire Nadin and Sarah Watkins in 2009 and runs classes in schools and leisure centres in Gloucestershire. The Academy offers classes to children, adults, tumbling and dance classes, birthday and hen parties as well as camps and competitions.

The WUMA Federation was founded by Richard Hopkins and now has over 900 registered schools and around 26,000 members in the UK.

The Cheltenham WUMA Club is currently believed to be the most successful Martial Arts group in the UK within competition, boasting many Area, English, British, European and World Champions within Semi & Full-Contact, Forms & Grappling.

Competing is an optional extra to the regular self-defence syllabus at the Club. The Club operates a Beat the Bully syllabus supplying Instructors to local schools and colleges. And, on joining our school, if you move house, WUMA has a school in almost every town in the UK for you to carry on your training.

Netball Fun League was founded in 2009, and started with just one division of very mixed standard teams playing at Bentham Country Club on a Monday night. Today, they have 78 teams and 11 divisions playing in various venues in and around Cheltenham.
