Swimming lessons are, in our opinion, one of the greatest gifts a parent can give to their children. Swimming is the only health promoting fun activity which also provides a child with the tools and skills to save their own life.
Here at leisure@cheltenham, we follow the ASA Award Scheme and, as appropriate, badges are awarded at the end of each full term. All our swimming teachers are ASA qualified.
12 week courses - New Term starting 16th April
All of our lessons are delivered by friendly, fully qualified coaches. We offer classes for every age, from very young children up to adults, and we welcome people of all abilities.
Open enrolment begins on Monday 26th March. Enrolment has to be made in person at customer services.
Each course is 12 weeks long with no breaks for half term. Courses run Monday to Friday from 4pm and Saturday mornings from 8.30am.

Each course costs £56.50 which includes a swimming hat.

Term Time Seahorse |

Term time Seahorse lessons are fun lessons for children who have already gained water confidence and will be happy to be in the water without a parent. Children should be at least 3 years old. Lessons run on a Wednesday morning at 10am. The new term will start on the 25th April and will run for 10 weeks. No lesson in the half term week (6th June). The cost for the term is £47.

A term time fun parent and child swimming lesson aimed at children 2 years. The lessons encourage water confidence through structure and play Lessons start on the 25th April at 10am and run for 10 weeks. No lessons during the half term week (6th June) Lessons are £47 for the 10 week term and are 30 minute sessions.

An alternative, fun, innovative and effective programme for introducing adults with babies or very young children to the exciting world of Aquatics through "song and rhyme. These sessions are available to our customers aged 50 and over and offer an opportunity to help improve wellbeing, stroke ability and water confidence. You can enrol now for the next term. Thursdays at 11.30am. Lessons begin week commencing 26th April. There will be no lesson week commencing 7th June due to the half term break. The cost is £25 for 10 weeks of lessons.
